Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce Receives 2026 CalChamber President’s Circle Award for Sixth Consecutive Year

CARLSBAD, Calif. — The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce has been recognized with the 2026 President’s Circle Award by the California Chamber of Commerce (CalChamber), marking the sixth consecutive year the Carlsbad Chamber has earned the prestigious statewide honor.

Presented during CalChamber’s California Business Outlook on June 10, the President’s Circle Award recognizes local chambers of commerce that demonstrate excellence in business advocacy and actively partner with CalChamber to advance policies that support California employers. The award also recognizes chambers that help businesses navigate California’s complex labor laws and regulatory environment.

The Carlsbad Chamber was one of only 20 local chambers and business organizations throughout California selected to receive the award in 2026.

“This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to being a strong advocate for the business community,” said Bret Schanzenbach, President and CEO of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce. “We are proud to represent the interests of our members at the local, regional, and state levels while providing the resources and support businesses need to succeed.”

The President’s Circle Award honors chambers that engage on issues important to employers and work alongside CalChamber’s advocacy team to ensure the voices of businesses are represented in legislative and regulatory discussions throughout California.

Since 2020, the Carlsbad Chamber has consistently earned the President’s Circle Award, demonstrating its dedication to advocacy, employer education, and creating a strong business climate for the Carlsbad community.

“Receiving this recognition for six consecutive years speaks to the dedication of our board, staff, volunteers, and members,” Schanzenbach added. “Together, we are helping shape policies that strengthen our economy and support the success of businesses throughout our region.”

The award recognizes local chambers that have demonstrated excellence in engaging on a variety of issues important to the business community, working alongside the CalChamber advocacy team to ensure a diverse set of voices is heard inside the state Capitol and the halls of California government. Those chambers are:
