Welcome Bonnie Hoffman, the Chamber's business services manager
The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce welcomes Bonnie Hoffman as its new business services manager. Bonnie spent more than two years with NORTH Magazine as the office manager before the publication closed its doors in May.
In her new position, Bonnie will be responsible for paying the Chamber's bills, invoicing members and answering billing questions, receiving payments and administering staff benefits. She also has the all-important role of making sure everyone has a complete stock of office supplies.
Bonnie is no stranger to North County; she moved from Rancho Cucamonga in San Bernardino County to Oceanside 10 years ago. Prior to working for NORTH, she was an administrative assistant for Schumacher, a chemical manufacturing and purifying company in Carlsbad. She has been married for 16 years to Jim Hoffman, director of sales for the West Coast region of QUMAS, a software company for regulated industries.
Bonnie and Jim have three cats and one new puppy. Bonnie enjoys working out, scary movies, shopping for unique jewelry and needle crafts. She said she loves North County because it's such a beautiful environment and she can't get enough of the great ocean breezes.
