Fast forward: Another design competition entry
Here's another sneak peek at one of the design concepts submitted to the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce Architectural Design Competition. As with all concepts, design schemes focus on two properties in the heart of the Village, adjacent to the Coaster station on State Street, including a City property and a private property. The competition winner will be announced in September. The names of the design professionals will be released at that time.
Design judges include David DiRienzo, president of Urban West Strategies in Santa Ana; Tony Letteri, principal at Anthony J. Letteri, AICP in San Diego; Greg Shannon, president of Sedona Pacific in Solana Beach; Steve Silverman, principal of Urban Council in San Diego and Dennie Smith, president of Consulting Architects in San Diego.
