For 40 years the Service Corp of Retired Executives (SCORE), also known as the nation's "Counselors to America's Small Businesses", has been recruiting top volunteers with "scores" of business experience, skills and talents as well as an array of knowledge on practical ways to run businesses for today and tomorrow. The pay counselors receive is the satisfaction of knowing they have helped an entrepreneur navigate through some of the same obstacles they themselves faced.
