Located at the site of the former Pine School, Pine Avenue Park will be bordered by the Carlsbad Senior Center, Harding Street and Chestnut Avenue. This 7.7-acre community park will serve the northwest quadrant of Carlsbad, providing active and passive use amenities.
Phase one of the park includes a multi-use sports fields, an informal amphitheater, a hard court play area, a tot lot, a picnic area, an ornamental garden and ample parking.
The park, which began construction in April 2005, is scheduled to open in early summer 2006.
