SCORE, an organization sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration, has recruited top volunteers with the best business experience to be found in San Diego County. Their experiences, skills and talents, and practical knowledge help owners run businesses for today and tomorrow.
Last month we were introduced to four SCORE Counselors. This month, we will meet a few more of "America's Counselors to Small Business."

Gerry Laframboise shines when it comes to marketing and sales for retail or start-up systems and procedures. He is experienced in acquisition and divestiture, and has owned wholesale and auto parts distribution stores.

Tom Nickols has business experience in buying, selling, marketing and sales. He owned a manufacturing business in precision metal parts. Business and financial planning are also valuable experiences he shares with small business managers. He is currently President of the San Diego Chapter of SCORE.

Henry Olbricht has done marketing and advertising as an independent contractor in the northwest, and works with his SCORE clients to see that they understand what their business marketing and competition needs are for a product or service business here.

Howard Price has been involved in government relations and project management, manufacturing in aerospace as well as obtaining and negotiating government contracts. He likes to challenge clients, asking them to think of the possibilities and results.

Jack Philbin loves creating business plans, accounting, bookkeeping and computer technology. He has been involved in E-Commerce, startup, financing, manufacturing, wages & salaries, auditing and office equipment, doing it all with a big smile.
