More than 30 new Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce members gathered at the Chamber, April 13 for lunch and an introduction to all the Chamber has to offer.
Board members and staff were introduced and new members received an overview of the Chamber's benefits and information about joining a committee, one of the best ways to jumpstart involvement with the Chamber.
Each member also learned the value of the 17-second commercial and had the opportunity to rehearse their own in front of the crowd. Toni Padron, the Chamber's executive vice president, explained the importance of attending networking events, such as the Sundowners and the First Friday Breakfasts to increase business opportunities.
