Time Warner, Inc. (TWC) recently held a ribbon cutting to celebrate their acquisition of certain assets of Colorado-based Adelphia Communications. This transaction opens the door for Time Warner Cable of San Diego to offer its technologically advanced products to more than 70,000 households in Carlsbad, Encinitas, Solana Beach, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, San Marcos, Vista and Fallbrook.

"This is a great day for the residents of North County who have been patiently waiting for this transaction to close," said Judy Walsh, President of TWC San Diego. "We look forward to bringing new products and services to the neighborhoods we'll serve."

North County residents will continue to use the same locations and customer service telephone number (888-683-1000) for inquiries and technical support. Product and service packages and channel lineups will also remain nearly identical for the immediate future.

Once the former Adelphia system is enhanced with additional technology and equipment, customers will begin to have access to exciting new products and services, such as faster Road Runner High Speed Internet and Time Warner Cable Digital Phone service.

Time Warner Cable of San Diego also develops and provides programs services and resources, Tech Tools for Schools and Cable in the Classroom to name a few, to benefit the communities where our customers live, work and play.
