The seventh annual Celebrate Carlsbad Day at LEGOLAND? California, in support of the Carlsbad Educational Foundation and nearly 12,000 local students, will be held Saturday, May 1, from 1 to 9 p.m.
Specially priced $15 “Celebrate Carlsbad Day” tickets include admission to LEGOLAND, with park hours extended until 9 p.m. for the event. Admission also includes a coupon for $5 admission ticket to SEA LIFE Aquarium for admittance May 1 or 2, and a special fireworks display at 8 p.m.
LEGOLAND will donate a portion of the proceeds from the event to the Carlsbad Educational Foundation (CEF) in support of district-wide music programs. Funds will help pay for the cost of weekly music instruction for every elementary school student throughout the year.
Celebrate Carlsbad Day offers an annual opportunity to appreciate what it means to live and work in and around Carlsbad, while highlighting the importance of a strong, local educational system that thoroughly prepares our students for the future.
Student performances will take place from 3 to 6 p.m., interspersed with ongoing recognition of local corporate donors, elected officials and perhaps even a few hometown heroes. The proceedings will be taped before a live audience on LEGOLAND's Fun Town Stage as part of this year's Kids Are Worth A Million? telecast.
