Jet Source, a full-service aviation firm, announced that it has reached its ten-year anniversary in business. Founded in April 1997, Jet Source originally launched with two Lear 35 aircraft after purchasing an existing Air Carrier certificate, Management Air Transport Services, Inc. Over the course of ten years, the company has dramatically transformed into a nationally-recognized business aviation center with twelve aircraft in operation, providing exclusive charter services, experienced maintenance and avionics service, fuel sales and special mission aircraft completions.

Today, Jet Source boasts 120,000 square feet of hangar space, 35,000 square feet of office space and a Fixed Base Operation (FBO) at its headquarters in Carlsbad at McClellan-Palomar Airport. The company is currently the only facility in California with the internal capabilities to support the operational needs of corporate aircraft at one location.

Over the past four years, Jet Source has experienced 177 percent growth. In 2004, 2006 and 2007, the company's FBO was ranked among the top 40 in the Americas.

“On our 10-year anniversary, I am tremendously grateful for the enduring support and commitment from our staff, who have made this decade of success possible,” said Frank Milian, president and COO of Jet Source. “I'm very proud of the progress we've been able to accomplish and tremendously excited about what the future will bring, as we continue to build our business around a shared core philosophy of excellence.”

In tandem with the company's ten-year milestone, Milian has been appointed to the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) Board of Directors, a significant achievement that demonstrates his innate leadership capabilities and overall commitment to supporting the aviation service industry at large. NATA aggressively promotes safety and the success of aviation service businesses through its advocacy efforts before government, the media and the public, as well as by providing valuable programs and forums to further its members' prosperity.
