Local playwrights Amy Chini and Tom Zohar are bringing our favorite dysfunctional family back to New Village Arts with more laughter, love and apple pie.
“Off the Ground,” a funny and touching play about family during the holidays, will run Dec. 6 through Dec. 21 at the theatre, located in Carlsbad Village at 2787 State St., Ste. B. Directed by Joshua Everett Johnson, the comedy is not intended for children under the age of 15 due to some language and adult subject matter.
NVA presented the world premiere of “Off the Ground” last season. The holiday comedy received critical acclaim.
“(Off the Ground) delivers a lot of laughs, excellent performances across the board and thoughtful, nuanced direction,” according to Pam Kragen of the North County Times.
Tickets range in price from $20 to $45. Senior, student, military and group discounts are available. For reservations or more information, call (760) 433-3245 or visit www.newvillagearts.org.
NVA also is offering holiday parties where companies or individuals can rent the theatre for 100 people. If you can't fill 100 seats, you can share a night with another company, which is a great way to introduce your employees to others and spread holiday joy.
Only five performances of “Off the Ground” are available. Reserve your night by contacting Box Office Manager Kelly Iversen at (760) 433-3245 or [email protected].
