Just in time for the 2010-2011 fiscal year, Visit Carlsbad has released the new Official Carlsbad Visitors Guide – a complete round-up of all that Carlsbad has to offer visitors.
The comprehensive guide brings together a wealth of information to provide travelers with everything they need to plan a vacation. The guide provides information on hotels, restaurants, beaches, unique shops, special events, attractions, trails, the arts and museums. Throughout its pages, visitors and residents alike will discover the most exciting ways to spend their time whether they are planning a week-long vacation, weekend getaway or day trip.
A highlight of the guide is a two-page map with designated markings for attractions, accommodations, golf, shopping centers, hiking trails, city parks, beaches, the airport, and other major attractions. In addition, visitors can log on to VisitCarlsbad.com and download a digital copy or simply choose which sections to read or print.
Carlsbad is widely recognized as a family destination with attractions such as LEGOLAND California Resort, the Sealife Aquarium and the new LEGOLAND Water Park. Visit Carlsbad recognized the significance of the first-ever
LEGOLAND Water Park and takes great pleasure in having a beautiful photograph of the Water Park on the cover of the 2010 Visitors Guide (thanks to LEGOLAND's public relations staff.) A second water park is due to open next year in Florida.
The free guide features a vibrant color palette and images consistant with the new branding and tagline “Visit Carlsbad, Where to go for Fun!”
More than 50,000 of the guides were printed and will be distributed locally to Carlsbad hotels and motels by Certified Folder Display Service, Inc. Certified will also distribute to select California welcome centers.
The remaining guides will be used for fulfillment of individual and group inquiries, reader response cards from ads in publications such as Sunset magazine and Oprah magazine, the official California Travel Planner, and online requests from VisitCarlsbad.com.
The guide is always available at the Carlsbad Visitors Center located in the historic train station at 400 Carlsbad Village Drive. You are invited to stop by when you are downtown and check out the new guide and visit with one of our charming hospitality ambassadors. You just might find out something interesting about Carlsbad that you did not know.
