How do I get involved in the
Carlsbad Chamber?
First, become a member. Serving on one of the Chamber's committees is a great way to connect right away. And try to attend a First Friday breakfast or one of our monthly Sundowners. These events are where connections are made.
Where can I get a Chamber logo to place on my Web site and business card to show that I'm a member?
Member Services Manager, Deveney Gibbons, can e-mail an e-plaque for you to put on your Web site to display that your business is a “proud member of the Carlsbad Chamber”.
How can I promote my company through the Chamber?
We offer several ways to promote your company.
• As with so many things, you, your employees and the relationships you forge with other business professionals are the best way to promote your company and your expertise. Get involved, get your employees involved and network to achieve maximum results from your membership.
• Promote your business and/or event through an e-mail sponsorship. The Chamber sends out two e-news bulletins each week (Tuesday and Thursday).
• Advertise in the Carlsbad Business Journal (readership is more than 40,000) Ads and inserts are available to members only.
• The annual Business Resource Guide is an excellent way to be seen!
• The Chamber's Web site has tile, banner, category sponsorship and business directory enhancement ads.

I am starting a small business. What resources are available to me?
The Chamber offers free SCORE counseling sessions twice a week. Please call the Chamber office to make an appointment. No walk-ins please. We also offer our Small Business Success Guide which is available at the front desk. Please call Lynn Delanzo to receive a copy.

How do I sign up for an event online?
First, visit our Events Calendar. Click on the name of the event you wish to attend. That will bring you to a screen that shows further detail about the event. For most events, you will click on the “Event Registration” link at the top of the page. You will need your user name and password to proceed with registration.
