I love my job! Especially this time of year, when everyone is in the holiday spirit! I should have been a millionaire so I could give, and then give some more as it is more blessed to give than receive.
It's gratifying to see that others share this philosophy. Just look at our past Sundowner. We asked for gifts to help those in need, and received in abundance.
At the November Sundowner hosted by the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa, our members were able to give back to the community and support the Carlsbad Christmas Bureau Adopt-A-Family Program. It was so much fun and so heartwarming to see the many toys, blankets and clothing that members brought in for their admission to the Sundowner! We collected enough gifts to fill four bins.
