We rolled out the "refer and earn" program for chamber members the first of the year and now it's August. How many members have your referred? If your answer is none, you still have time!
Let me refresh your memory.
A referral is someone that you (as an active Carlsbad Chamber member) know or that you do business with that is currently not a member. The referral is not someone that is already attending a chamber function or someone you meet at a Carlsbad Chamber event. Once a referral is a member your will receive a coupon to use for the prize that you have won for that particular referral which will be required for redemption with an RSVP of at least one week prior to any event, except for Sundowners.
Refer first member: You receive four Sundowner passes. These cannot be used when Carlsbad Chamber does a joint Sundowner with a neighboring chamber. ($20 value)
Refer second member: You get to attend a First Friday Breakfast for free! RSVP Required. ($30 value)
Refer a third member: You will receive a marketplace ad in the Carlsbad Business Journal (based upon availability) ($50 value)
Refer fourth member: You receive one ticket to the State of the City Luncheon on August 24, 2012 or $50 credit towards any chamber workshop in 2012. Please note the State of the City is almost sold out. ($50 value)
Refer a fifth member: We will deduct $150 from your 2013 membership renewal. ($150 value)
Wait, that's not all! Each time you refer a new member to the chamber, your name goes into the GRAND PRIZE DRAWING which will be held Dec. 7 at the Annual Volunteer Recognition Awards Breakfast. So far, we have a golf bag with goodies from TaylorMade for the grand prize. Stay tuned for additional items that we will be adding the Grand Prize!
Refer five new members and you are basically receiving $350 in valued services and products, which doesn't even include the Grand Prize! So, get busy and start earning! You must be a member in good standing to participate and receive the items listed above.
