Carlsbad Village is a vibrant downtown. With retail, services, art galleries, restaurants, entertainment, and the beach just two blocks away, the Village has truly become a place for everyone. As we like to say, “From beaches and theaters to fine dining and taco shops, Carlsbad Village is your North County destination of choice.” With everything so close by, the Village is possibly the most walkable downtown in North County. And, if you hop on the
Coaster for a ride into the Village, it lets you off in the heart of downtown with shopping and dining just steps away. How convenient is that?
The Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) is pleased to host numerous events throughout the year to help make the Village even more enjoyable and fun.
Except for the Taste of Carlsbad Village, all of CVA’s events are free and open to the entire community. With its weekly certified organic State Street Farmers’ Market (Wednesdays), that just celebrated its 25th anniversary, to the 14 events it manages, plus ten Village Voices business networking meetings for Village businesses, CVA helps keep Carlsbad Village on the move.
Whether you come to Carlsbad Village to enjoy the long stretches of sandy beach, to shop the latest trends, to grab a selfie at the oversized public art chair at the fountain, or to enjoy a great cup of coffee at a local cafe that roasts its own beans, we trust you will enjoy the unique and enduring Village charm on every visit.
