Rory Graham Jr. Foundation and Ask Mama G Podcast Hosts Tea Time

The Rory Graham Jr. Foundation is in partnership with Ask Mama G Podcast. On May 20th Saturday Ask Mama G Podcast had a sold-out successful Mother’s Day tea at the Bliss and Tea and Treats shop in Oceanside, CA. 301 Mission Ave to support and raise funds for the Rory Graham Jr. Foundation. From 11:00 to 1:00. PM. The Bliss and Tea shop hosted 46 women for the Tea Party. The food was delicious. We had scones, sandwiches, and four different teas which were smooth and very tasty. We had a silent auction. We auctioned the champagne basket, wine basket Victoria’s Secret basket. Dinner for two from Felix’s BBQ restaurant. We had a raffle for a Bath and beauty basket. Two gift certificates to Douglas Salon in Oceanside and jewelry.

We learned how to drink tea from our facilitator, Mrs. Vanessa Webster. The restaurant was beautifully decorated by Lyn of creative Decor and baskets. We are helping raise funds to have a scholarship in Rory’s name at the prestigious school Army Navy Academy in Carlsbad, CA.

Rory Graham Jr. was the first African American cadet to serve as chaplain for three years at the school. He had the largest Christian Club in the school history. When he tragically passed away in 2009. The former general Steven Bliss asked the family to start a foundation to inspire the other cadets, at the Army and Navy Academy. Graham Jr.
