CALL FOR ENTRIES:
The Carlsbad Sister City Ambassadors (CSCA) proudly presents our first area-wide student creative competition and exhibition. We are looking for the next generation of artists, writers, photographers, musicians and videographers. All entriese recommended by student’s teacher wil be accepted.
WHY ENTER?
RECOGNITION – All entrants will receive a monetary award, a certificate of participation, and gifts at our March celebation. POSSIBLE GLOBAL EXPOSURE: Winners of our local exibit will go on to the SCl international competitions The Young Artists and Authors Showcase and/or The International Young Artists Showcase (So Cal Chapter) POSSIBLE LARGE PRIZES: $1000, $500, $250 will be awarded internationally in each category and age group.
CATEGORIES: ART (both digital and classic), VIDEO, WRITTEN WORD (essay and poetry) PHOTOGRAPHY and MUSICAL COMPOSITION
MISSION: The mission is to voice thoughts of our world today, on our 250th U.S. birthday, and express goals for what we can do for a positive world tomorrow. Inspired by President Eisenhower’s 1956 vision, we promote peace through people to people diplomacy. Our Sister Cities are Futtsu, Japan and Karlovy Vary, the Czech Republic. There are 2000 sister City relationships in 140 countries worldwide.
