The Tumble Zone is an extension of the Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA Gymnastics Center. The new YMCA Tumble Zone offers gymnastics and tumbling programs for children a ges 9 months to 10 years.
According to a press release:
The new YMCA Tumble Zone is an extension of the 22,000 Sq Foot YMCA Gymnastics Center at 6100 Avenida Encinas. The Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA Gymnastics Center is home to the Seawind Gymnastics Competition Team and serves over 5,000 boys and girls annually ages 9 months and older though recreation gymnastics programs, mommy & me classes, tumbling, rhythmic gymnastics, trampoline, snowboard & skate cross training, open gym and birthday parties. The new YMCA Tumble Zone will offer gymnastics and tumbling programs tailored to children ages 9 months to 10 years old such as Preschool Open Gym, Mommy/Daddy & Me, Transitional Two’s, Tiny Tumblers, Music & Movement, programming for children with special needs, and Birthday Parties. The new facility will feature state of the art youth gymnastics equipment, a spring floor, a tumbling pit with rope swing, balance beams, obstacle course, tumble track, parent lounge, birthday party room and more!

Surf Air has launched daily services from McClellan-Palomar Airport in Carlsbad with non-stop access to San Carlos & Santa Barbara. Non-stop service to Hawthorne will begin Jan. 5. Connecting flights will also be available to Oakland, Truckee and Las Vegas.
In a news release, Surf Air states:
Surf Air, the nation’s first All-You-Can-Fly private membership airline, announced… that it will expand its service to Carlsbad, California and Oakland, Calif. This expansion occurs in conjunction with the delivery of the first three new Pilatus PC-12NG of Surf Air’s recent order of 65 aircraft to be delivered over the next five years. As part of that order, Surf Air will take delivery of an additional nine aircraft during 2015. With the additional service to Carlsbad and Oakland, Surf Air’s capacity will now provide new service for two of the most requested markets from prospective and existing members. “This expansion provides access for our members to two destinations that are in very high demand”
“The addition of both Oakland and Carlsbad is just the beginning of the exciting growth opportunity and expansion plan for Surf Air” said Jeff Potter, CEO of Surf Air. “Both markets are largely underserved by commercial carriers and hot spots for California-based business and leisure travelers. We intend to continue to expand to new markets with similar characteristics that benefit our existing membership base and introduce our innovative travel experience to new members.”

The new 40,022-square-foot gym will be open around the clock and will feature a wide variety of fitness equipment and amenities to help members stay active and healthy throughout the fall season and all year-round.
