Those wishing to attend the sessions must RSVP. Celebrating 23 years of showcasing the area’s best products and services, the Expo allows vendors the opportunity to introduce new products and services, connect with their loyal customers and make new ones — all in a laid back, no-pressure setting. (See more information and a list of participating businesses here). Businesses signed up for this year’s expo offer a wide range of products and services, from health care providers to universities, financial institutions and home improvements companies. Some members will be selling their products at the event. Microsoft will have a booth showcasing new products and will have several raffles. The event is known for facilitating both business-to-business and business-to-consumer interactions. “Our unofficial motto is that the Expo isn’t a place for hard sells, only for the best products and services,” said Chamber President and CEO Ted Owen. This year’s venue, hosting its first Expo, provides an intimate setting for these interactions to take place. Admission to the expo is $10, but a free Expo ticket can be downloaded from the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce’s website, www.carlsbad.org.
