The Electronics Specialties Material's facility of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., located in Carlsbad, was awarded an Environmental Excellence Award from the Encina Wastewater Authority for the sixth time since 1994. The stringent criteria for the award include 100 percent compliance with all water pre-treatment ordinances. Randy Skow, environmental manager for Air Products, said, “Receiving this award is very important to this facility. It’s another great example of Air Products’ commitment to corporate responsibility and sustainability.”
