Chris Franzino, the Carlsbad Chamber Ambassador of the month, is the Commercial Account Manager for SYSTEMS Computer Training. SYSTEMS provides technical training and certifications for IT Professionals thru Microsoft, CISCO, Sun Microsystems and several Security Organizations.
Security training in particular has become a hot topic as it becomes more and more important to keep valuable data and information from getting into the wrong hands. SYSTEMS works exclusively with corporate clients, to ensure classes are filled with your peers and co-workers. Their facility has five classrooms and is located next door to the Chamber of Commerce, ensuring their clients get personalized, dedicated service without compromise.
SYSTEMS also offers a wide variety of training for end-users, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop Suite, Web Development, QuickBooks and Crystal Reports. All of the courses offered at SYSTEMS are day long sessions, allowing students to learn new tips and tricks that they can apply the very next day.
"Our goal is to ensure that people leave our classes with the ability to be more productive with the software they use everyday," Franzino said.
After graduating from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, Chris moved to California to begin his career.
"Since SYSTEMS is located right next door to the Chamber, joining the Ambassador Committee was a great opportunity for me to meet new people on a professional level," said Chris. "I never thought I would meet so many people who loved a city as much as the residents of Carlsbad do."
Chris is an active member of the Carlsbad Community and the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, volunteering on several committees and organizations.
