Marsha Lewis, owner of Marsha Lewis Insurance Services, has been named Ambassador of the Month by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce.
Lewis began her career with Greyhound Lines Inc. as a benefits representative in Dallas, Texas, where she was introduced to the employee benefits field. While managing a portfolio of company benefits for employees at Hy-Lite Products Inc. as the human resource manager, Lewis worked extensively with company employees on benefit plans and positive counsel, and also researched benefit plans the company could offer its employees.
In 2004, she transitioned to the insurance brokerage field assisting small business owners with their health insurance. Through her firsthand knowledge in human resource positions, Lewis understands the challenges business owners face.
In 2007, she launched Marsha Lewis Insurance Services where she continued to provide carefully researched benefits and programs to clients who range from sole proprietors to small group owners and their employees. Her clientele has remained loyal due to her dedication, genuine approach and commitment to their happiness.
Lewis received her bachelor's degree from George Fox College and has coursework toward her master's degree in human resources and training from Amber University. She and her husband, Roy, have five children and 10 grandchildren.
