Liz Anderson, who has been active on the Ambassador Committee for more than a year, was named Ambassador of the Month by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce.
Anderson was the marketing coordinator for SportClips Haircuts during the franchise's entry into the San Diego market. She was influential in assisting to brand SportClips in San Diego and with the marketing for the opening of eight stores in the region.
Anderson is now transitioning to a new position as a Farmers Insurance agent in Carlsbad. Although she will be growing her new agency, insurance is not new to her.
She has a passion for insurance that stems from her many years as a corporate employee in claims, underwriting and sales and marketing for Farmers Insurance. Her experience as a branch claims manager taught her firsthand that having proper coverage can save an individual from losing everything in the event of an unfortunate loss.
Her most recent position with Farmers was as an assistant district sales manager. This unique background in the industry gives Anderson an advantage as an agent. She recommends that everyone have their insurance coverage reviewed at least once per year.
Anderson is active in the community and is a member of the Carlsbad Hi-Noon Rotary Club. Her office will be located in Carlsbad at 2725 Jefferson Street, Suite 13.
She will offer all lines of insurance, including auto, home, life and commercial. Soon, Anderson will be licensed to sell financial products.
