Natalie Renner, manager of Guaranty Bank's Carlsbad banking center, has been named Ambassador of the Month by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce.
Renner is responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operations of the banking center. However, she brings much more to the position.
Renner is deeply ingrained in the Carlsbad community and serves as a great role model for community involvement.
Renner was named Ambassador of the Month for her exceptional community involvement and support. During September, she served as the official host at chamber functions, including ribbon cutting ceremonies, member appreciation events and open houses.
She also is a member of the chamber's Armed Services Committee, which serves as a liaison between the military and the community. Renner educates the community on how to conduct business on military bases, as well as promotes regional job opportunities and supports the military community by identifying and providing needed services.
She also is involved in United Way and numerous chamber activities, as well as the Southern California MS Challenge Walk.
A Massachusetts native, Renner earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts. She and her husband, a gunnery sergeant in the Marines Corps, moved to Florida where she worked as the manager of the Bank of Pensacola.
On the move again, Renner and her husband left Florida and found a home in Carlsbad where she joined Guaranty Bank last April. Renner provides strong leadership for her team as they help customers and small businesses in Carlsbad succeed financially.
