Amanda Frank, director of sales for Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites in Carlsbad, has been named Ambassador of the Month by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce.
Frank has been with the two new Hilton hotels since April of 2007, which was before they opened. As director of sales, she has the opportunity to meet numerous people within the community and learn about a wide array of industries and companies.
“I help business and leisure travelers feel like they've never left home,” Frank said. “The best part of my job is hearing a customer say that they know they don't have to worry about their travelers because they know I have them taken care.”

While not at work, Frank, who lives in Poway, spends time with her husband, Brian, 2-year-old son, Alex, and 3-month-old son, Jackson.
