Tom Bwarie is humbled to be the Ambassador of the Month for August, having just begun his new business, Signature Hand Engraving, in April, which offers on-site hand engraving of a "take away" glass for social and corporate events.
Born of immigrant parents in 1947 in Los Angeles, his father immigrated to the US in 1909 from Lebanon, Tom attended Catholic school through high school and graduated from USC with a degree in Business ('70). He married Norma in 1976 and they have three children.
In 1977, he opened his first retail shop in Sherman Oaks, Calif., The Wine 'n Liquor Basket, which catered to the entertainment industry with creative gift baskets, expansive wine selection and customer service. In 1990, The Bwarie Gift Basket Company opened in Village Fair in Carlsbad. Bwarie ran it for 10 years until his lease expired.
Tom's business, Signature Hand Engraving, culminates his 34 years in business by offering a specialized service to market and make memorable both social and corporate events. At a wedding, a hand engraved wine glass for each guest both impresses guests and allows them to remember the event long after the date. For corporate functions (open houses, trade shows, corporate picnics, annual meetings) this service brands the company as their logo is pre-etched on the glass.
Remember: Everyone keeps their name!
He is confident that his service will be the best part of your event. For information, contact him at 760-730-1456.
