I am honored to be chosen as February's Ambassador of the Month. I joined the Carlsbad Chamber two years ago and continually find the Chamber to be an incredible business resource.
After graduating from the University of San Diego in 2007, I left my home town for the bright lights of Los Angeles. I quickly realized that the term “destination city” wasn't just a slogan, it was the truth. Towards the end of 2008, I was hired by Manpower to develop the North County territory during the “Great Recession” and knew the Carlsbad Chamber was a must.
Since its inception in 1977, Manpower of San Diego has serviced the staffing needs of large, medium, and small businesses in both the public and private sectors. Here in San Diego County, Manpower is the largest, locally owned franchise lead by prominent figures, Phil Blair and Mel Katz. We have three staffing offices located throughout the area (Mission Valley, Mira Mesa, and San Marcos) with an administrative support office in downtown San Diego.
As an ambassador, I meet new members and promote the many programs the Chamber has to offer. Whether it's breakfast at the Windmill (First Friday Breakfast) or enjoying the beer pairings at Karl Strauss (Sundowners), every week, there is an opportunity to get out and network. These events pull people out of the office and allow them to meet each other on a more personal level.
My goal is to provide the Chamber with the resources to answer HR questions, discuss future trends, and provide solutions to those difficult employment issues. For more information, please contact me at
