Each month, various presentations are given during the Technology Committee meeting to help empower business owners and their employees through the utilization of technology.
There is no need to be a member of the Technology Committee to take advantage of the free informational presentations. Any Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce member who is interested in attending a meeting to learn more about the presentation topic is more than welcome to do so.
The upcoming meeting topics are:
• April 21, Computers/servers/printers/copiers. Learn general guidelines to discern whether or not you need a desktop workstation or a server and a printer or a copier.
• May 19,Business recovery plan best practices. Learn how to prepare your business in case disaster strikes so your company won't have to close down, potentially losing thousands of dollars.
• June 16, Internet security (SSL), service payment, merchant account, shopping carts. Learn about the security required to do online sales.
• July 21, Smart phones. Learn about the latest and greatest in cell phone technology.
