For 15 years diners have enjoyed the sights, smells and sounds that are Tuscany. Located on the northwest corner of El Camino Real and Alga in Carlsbad, this 4,000 square-foot hideaway promises fine Italian entrees, steaks, seafood and wine.
The name Tuscany comes from Tomaso Maggiore's love of the Italian city. Maggiore, who owns this fine dining establishment as well as other restaurants in both California and Arizona, does a lot of traveling to bring the most authentic Italian tastes to life. When asked, "What is Italian cooking?” Maggiore answers with his favorite saying, 'One cannot think well, love well and live well if one has not dined well.' In line with his cooking motto Maggiore uses the finest ingredients available and prepares his dishes with pride.

The restaurant itself, which seats up to 225 people, features a banquet room that seats between 65 and 80 people; a perfect venue for receptions or large gatherings. There is also live music every Wednesday through Saturday in the evenings. A mix of jazz and blues serenades diners through their antipasti, secondi piatti and dolci, or appetizers, entr?es and desserts. Enjoy regional Italian cuisine including expertly prepared appetizers, pastas, seasonal vegetables, entrees, featuring seafood and Tuscan-style steaks.

Inside the restaurant you will see hand-painted wall murals, original artwork by Aldo Luongo as well as posters with the likes of Sophia Loren and Al Pacino. The black and white photographs accent the sculpted pillars that adorn several corners and entrances. The attire for the handsome d?cor is business-evening attire or upscale casual. However, that depends on how you plan to spend your evening.

A separate lounge area allows for cocktails and dancing in the evening or a casual business hookup during a midday lunch; while the dining area sports cloth draped tables and linen napkins.
"Dining at Tuscany’s is an experience," says Maggiore. The restaurant combines the best service, atmosphere and fine Italian cuisine. Maggiore also says that, "your night out will be an evening to remember with great food and live entertainment."
