Val Brown, video production manager for the city of Carlsbad, recently received six prestigious awards from the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors.
Brown received the following awards at the association's 23rd annual awards ceremony in September:
• First place for “Journey to Sustainability” in the public affairs category.
• First place for “Journey to Sustainability” in the profile of a city or county category.
• Third place for “Journey to Sustainability” in the public education category.
• Honorable mention for “The Conversation Continues, Cannon Road Agricultural Lands” in the public education category.
• Honorable mention for “Summer in the City” in the community awareness category.
• Honorable mention for “The Conversation Continues, Cannon Road Agricultural Lands” in the community awareness category.
