Business Expo Committee takes this year's event to the next level
By Richard Nolan
The Business Expo Committee began meeting in June to get the ball rolling for North County's largest business to business showcase, the 15th annual Carlsbad Business Expo. The expo is scheduled from 1 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at Westfield Plaza Camino Real. With more than 200 exhibitors and 2,000 attendees, this year's Expo will be a great networking opportunity.
This year, the event will also be open to prospective chamber members and non-profit exhibitors, which will give them an excellent opportunity to showcase their businesses. The dedicated committee members who are helping plan this event have thought of new ways to take the Business Expo to the next level.
The committee, which includes eight members, meets twice a month from June through September for an hour at the Chamber on Mondays at 4 p.m. The members of the committee are responsible for all aspects of the event, including exhibitor and food vendor registration, raffle prizes, set-up and clean-up and exhibitor networking. If you are looking for a great way to get involved in the Chamber and have a great time, consider getting involved in next year's Business Expo Committee. For more information, contact Betsy Bracken at (760) 931-8400 or Richard Nolan at (760) 804-9696.
