Celebrating their second year of publishing, Tim Wrisley and Troy Mills the creators and owners of Carlsbad Magazine have launched a new community website for the city of Carlsbad. ClickOnCarlsbad.com is the title and URL of Carlsbad Magazine's new Internet home and is sure to be added to Carlsbad residents' and visitors' list of favorites.

"ClickOnCarlsbad.com is much more than just an electronic version of Carlsbad Magazine," says Wrisley of the Internet site and award-winning magazine. "It truly is a community-based site that offers both the resident and the visitor to Carlsbad important news, events and information.

"After two years of successfully publishing the magazine, we wanted to extend our reach through the Internet while continuing to grow Carlsbad Magazine," Mills adds. "ClickOnCarlsbad is a great way to connect with Carlsbad's growing population. It also gives us the ability to cross-promote with two mediums."

The two publishers, both Carlsbad natives, started Carlsbad Magazine in October of 2004, and have grown the magazine to a circulation of over 35,000 copies.

"ClickOnCarlsbad offers us the ability to be much more timely with news and information about Carlsbad, whereas the print magazine can show off its beauty a bit more," Wrisley says. "In other words, while Carlsbad Magazine has the staying of a coffee table, ClickOnCarlsbad has the immediacy of the Internet. The two compliment each other so well it is becoming very attractive to, not just our readers, but to our advertisers too."
