Membership in the Carlsbad and Oceanside Chambers of Commerce just became even more valuable.
For many years, the Carlsbad Chamber's First Friday Breakfast has been one of North County's top networking events. Earlier this year, the Oceanside Chamber decided to focus on creating a strong luncheon program to provide a mid-day networking and informational program for North County businesses.
The result was the new LINK Luncheon program that takes place on the third Wednesday of each month.
The Carlsbad and Oceanside Chambers have teamed up to promote these two great events to members of both chambers, and also to other business leaders throughout the region. As a result of this partnership, Carlsbad Chamber members can attend LINK Luncheons at the Oceanside Chamber member price and Oceanside Chamber members can attend First Friday Breakfasts at the Carlsbad Chamber member price.
“We want to promote the fact that there is great value in being a member of your local chamber,” said Bev Jorgensen, director of corporate relations and member services at the Carlsbad Chamber. “By working together with our neighboring chambers, we are able to provide our members with added value by giving them opportunities to meet new people.”
For the past two years, the Carlsbad Chamber has worked together with the Oceanside and Vista Chambers on 5-Minute “Speed Networking” events. Since partnering, attendance has greatly increased and the events have become more valuable to the participants.
