The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Success Center is dedicated to helping small business members thrive through networking, training and counseling.
The center offers many services, including:
• Counseling, one-on-one meetings with members to discuss their goals for growing their business through the chamber, participation in existing chamber programs, how to target specific markets, member introductions, business plans and etc. SCORE provides counseling at the chamber with retired executives for specific areas of business startup and growth. Field visits scheduled as needed.
• Facilitating, one-stop representation for involvement and introductions in the chamber. Learn details about member companies so that connections can be made for generating business and referrals.
• Networking, monthly meetings, events and workshops provide opportunities for all members to connect. Learn how to take advantage of these events and which ones best serve your business goals. Also learn the art of NetWeaving, a form of networking that helps you build your contacts through a “Pay it Forward” concept.
• Workshops and roundtables, look for topics like marketing, business plans, loans and financing to help you grow your business. Participate in a roundtable for a “crash course” on chamber involvement.
• Pathways to Success, join a peer support group and learn how to work on your business, not in your business.
