When talking about the benefits that come with joining the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce in this column, I often focus on a specific benefit, one that is specific to the topic at hand. This month, I thought it might be good idea to put all of them out on the table.
In this economic climate, businesses need every bit of help they can get, whether it's saving on shipping costs (a benefit available for qualifying members through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce) to raising their visibility in the community by being included in our website directory, annual business guide and in this newspaper.
That doesn't include the opportunity to beef up your networking contacts at our monthly and annual events, or the myriad of training sessions, networking events and seminars we regularly host to help our members develop new business skills.
