To assist businesses in getting a feel for China and the way it does business, the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce is organizing a trip Hong Kong, Macau and other southern cities in China.
The first 100 people who register for the trip will depart Nov. 3 and return Nov. 12. The remaining travelers will depart Nov. 5 and return Nov. 13.
The trip includes roundtrip international airfare, airport taxes throughout, roundtrip transportation from the chamber to Los Angeles International Airport, four-star and five-star hotel stays, admission tickets to several tourist spots and historical sites, deluxe tour buses with English-speaking guides and three meals everyday, except in Hong Kong and Macau where only breakfast is included.
“Although it is a business trip, there will be plenty of time for personal sightseeing and shopping,” said Ted Owen, president and CEO of the chamber. “In addition, the chamber can arrange business meetings with Chinese business representatives for those who are interested.”
The cost is $2,299 per person, as well as a $130 visa application fee and miscellaneous processing fees. A minimum non-refundable deposit of $250 is required at time of registration.
