Julie Njaa joined the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce in February as the marketing coordinator.
In this position, Njaa is responsible for all of the advertising sales in the Carlsbad Business Journal, as well as the chamber's other publications. Njaa previously worked for the chamber as the business development manager.
Her professional background includes being a sales manager in the wireless industry. Njaa's husband, Eric, has worked for the city of Poway for the past 21 years.
They have two children. Karli, 11, competitively plays soccer and basketball, and Ryan, 8, is a passionate football and baseball player.
In her spare time, Njaa loves playing tennis and also enjoys volleyball, walking and doing volunteer work. She is training for her fourth year participating in the 60-mile Susan G. Komen 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk.
