The Business Resource Committee provides opportunities for members of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce to network and grow their business through forums and workshops.
The committee's mission is to promote positive business relationships for chamber members by creating opportunities for increased visibility and referrals, while advocating sound business skills, practices and values. This committee helps facilitate the chamber's monthly First Friday networking breakfast and oversees the online Speakers Bureau.
The mission of the Speakers Bureau is to refer quality speakers to the community, provide speaking opportunities for chamber members and offer resources to help improve your speaking skills.
The committee chair is Bob Clark of Wealth Strategy Group and the co-chair is Crissy Thomas of Gevity. The staff liaison is Bev Jorgensen, the chamber's director of corporate relations and member services.
The committee meets from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. on the first Tuesday of each month at the chamber office, 5934 Priestly Drive.
