Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP conducted its first special seminar on private aviation, "From Concept to Closing," to enable participants to understand the issues, choices and options surrounding the booming private aviation sector. The seminar was held at Jet Source Inc. at McClellan-Palomar Airport in Carlsbad. It consisted of panel discussions on charter, jet cards, fractional ownership and ownership of whole aircraft.
"Private aviation is on the rise, with over 12,000 corporate aircraft now in use," said Eli Mansour, founder of Luce Forward's aviation practice area. "The maturity of this industry sector brings about complex issues and pitfalls, and the panel that we have assembled can simplify the questions to ask when looking to evaluate and use private aviation, from chartering to the acquisition of an aircraft."
