Your Home as Sanctuary celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting on Tuesday June 6. Gisela Liess came to Carlsbad from the Thousand Oaks-Westlake Village area, where she opened her interior design business in 1981. She moved here to fulfill her dream of living and working close to the ocean. Her new retail home furnishings boutique, Your Home as Sanctuary, located in the new Village by the Sea development on Carlsbad Boulevard, is filled with special objects of art and furniture.
