We are a society that has become so dependent on fear that it has permeated itself into nearly every aspect of our lives. Whether you struggle with fear surrounding economic fluctuations or things like failure or change, you need to redirect your focus so fear no longer prevents you from achieving your goals or stands in the way of your success.
Coping with fear is not enough. Learn how to conquer your fears and see prosperity return to your business by attending the Carlsbad Chamber's First Friday Breakfast next month.
The featured speaker will be Gloria Boileau, an international speaker and author of “Stop the Fear.” Boileau is an executive coach and a former trial specialist who prepared clients for jury trial.
Currently, Boileau helps people conquer their fears while empowering them to create a prosperous business in today's challenging economic times. Boileau said one client she worked with went from merely surviving to making $70,000 in one day after she conquered her fears.
During the First Friday Breakfast, you will learn five:
• Common mistakes people make when addressing their fears.
• Steps to conquering your fears.
• Solutions to fearlessly achieving your business goals.
First Friday Breakfast is the chamber's premiere networking and business promotional event, and one of the most regularly attended monthly programs. The breakfast will be from 7 to 9 a.m. Sept. 4 at the Windmill Banquet & Catering, 890 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad, 92008.
Tickets for the event are $30 for chamber members and $50 for prospective members registered by Aug. 28. After Aug. 28, and at the door, tickets are $55. At the door, seating is not guaranteed and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Tabletop exhibits or Soapbox presentations are available to promote your business for $70 each, which includes one breakfast, and must be reserved in advance by calling Deveney Gibbons, the chamber's member services manager, at (760) 931-8400.
