Recycling E-waste
The Carlsbad Chamber proudly supports the Carlsbad lifestyle of healthy living and enjoyment of the outdoors, which means it promotes the well-being of both business and citizen interests.
One part of this is caring for the environment, namely recycling. At the Carlsbad Business Expo, the chamber will be offering recycling of e-waste, provided by E-World Recyclers.
The disposal of computers, monitors, laptops, LCD and plasma screens, DVD players, cell phones, fax machines, and other office machinery and electronic devices is known as e-waste.
E-waste is such a hot topic because the improper dumping of this material not only occupies entire landfills but increases our solid waste stream, causing avoidable negative effects to our atmosphere. Taking your part in helping to decrease this growing concern will help protect our planet for our future generations.
E-World Recyclers will appropriately discard any of your unwanted electronics and provide information about the proper disposal of all e-waste. The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce encourages attendees to bring e-waste, as those recyclers will be rewarded with free admission into the event.
