First Citizens Bank has opened a new 4,500-square-foot branch at 6088 Innovation Way, bringing its special brand of banking to The Towers at Bressi Ranch office park.
According to First Citizens' Regional Executive Steve Wise, the new Carlsbad office represents a significant addition to the bank's facilities in coastal North County.
“Carlsbad is a great area for our company, especially with our focus on individuals, small businesses, medical practitioners and other professionals,” Wise said. “This new office is conveniently located and will allow us to focus on building long-term relationships with our clients.”
A commitment to high-quality service and building client relationships is the key to First Citizens Bank's success, said Michael Becker, manager of retail banking.
“Our clients benefit from a high level of personal service and an integrated approach to helping people and businesses achieve their financial goals,” Becker said. “For example, we work hard to help our business clients grow and prosper. Products include a variety of deposit programs, loan packages, cash management products and many more services tailored to match the needs of any size company.”
The new First Citizens office is easily accessible from Carlsbad, Encinitas, San Marcos and Vista, Becker explained. The full-service branch offers a wide array of personal and business banking services.
The bank previously served Carlsbad clients from a location on Marron Road. The new branch offers a more central location and features dedicated parking, a walk-up ATM, additional private offices and a conference room. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Branch associates include Paula Anderson, manager; Patience Wilson, supervisor of operations and service; Michaele Herder, Amanda Arnaiz and Shannon Watkins, financial services representatives; and Melissa Winkenwader and Wanda Thornton, banker assistants. Luke Matteson serves as manager of commercial banking and is based at the Carlsbad office.
“Our team is excited about our new office and new location; we're even more excited about serving our clients and developing new relationships,” Anderson said. “We provide the expertise and convenience you would expect of a major financial institution, yet our clients continue to know us as local bankers who provide personal attention and dedicated service.”
From all her financial experience, Anderson has learned that a good banking relationship includes sitting down and clearly defining goals, identifying and managing key priorities and developing solutions that fit the needs of an individual or business.
“Banking is more than basic checking or savings accounts; it's about making the most of your money at every stage of your life, loans for your business, a mortgage or even retirement,” Anderson said. “Look for a bank that has the right philosophy for you: one that puts clients first and builds strong relationships for a lifetime of financial success.”
First Citizens Bank, member FDIC, is a subsidiary of First Citizens BancShares Inc. (Nasdaq: FCNCA), a $21 billion financial holding company based in Raleigh, N.C., with 112 years of dedication to its clients.
First Citizens today directs the operation of 378 branches in California, Washington, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, Maryland and the District of Columbia. The bank has 15 branches in California.
First Citizens is recognized as one of the nation's strongest and most stable financial institutions, according to Anderson. The bank's dependability and soundness are the result of its traditional values, disciplined approach to business, emphasis on maintaining a solid financial position and exceptional client service.
Stewardship of clients' money is a top priority. Throughout its history, First Citizens has focused on asset quality, liquidity and strong capitalization. The bank has received multiple national awards for customer satisfaction and overall stability and security, including multiple Greenwich Excellence awards for business banking and BauerFinancial's Superior Five Star Rating for safety and soundness (bauerfinancial.com of Coral Cables, Fla.). First Citizens did not take funding from the federal government's Troubled Assets Relief Program (TARP).
“At First Citizens, we're firmly grounded in traditional values of integrity, common sense and consistency,” Anderson said. “We care about our clients and building long-lasting relationships with them based on these values.”
