Dynamic Video Productions (DVP) creates one-of-a-kind videos with emotional impact and lasting value. They produce broadcast quality videos that help businesses better communicate their messages to prospects, customers and employees.

DVP creates "Brand Documentaries", productions that capture the strong beliefs business owners have for their companies. These productions focus on what the company is about, why people should buy from them and how these companies are making a difference in their communities.

They also integrate video with PowerPoint to create interesting presentations for businesses as well as videos that help families celebrate milestone events by incorporating family photographs, animation effects and specially chosen music. They can digitally archive any cherished image you have onto a DVD.

She worked as a classroom teacher and quickly transitioned her career into marketing, sales administration and event/trade show management. What makes your business a standout? The instant you look at one of our samples, you will see how video can help grow your business and bring your family closer together. Our customers are well taken care of and we deliver a product that exceeds expectations.

Drawbacks to your line of business: Sometimes people jump to the conclusion that if they have a friend who has a video camera, they'll get results that are "good enough". However, we enjoy educating our customers on why professionally produced video can be an important investment and how it can help them achieve results.

Why is your company located in Carlsbad? Where else can you attend a formal corporate meeting and then walk to the beach and go surfing? Carlsbad is made up of unique and diverse neighborhoods. And there are so many interesting businesses and families that have wonderful stories to tell. We are very fortunate to call Carlsbad our home.

How do you plan to grow? Via referrals from happy customers and by building strategic partner relationships with local event-oriented business owners and catering managers at the local hotels.

Toughest career decision: When we started the company, weprovided high quality video production to a very specialized market. Moving our business forward, expanding our service offerings and marketing these services to a broader audience was a big job to tackle and involved making some tough decisions.

Ongoing challenges: As business owners, it's amazing how much you learn about things that you never imagined you'd ever need to know. Sometimes it's hard to keep from getting distracted by all the administrative details.

Best way to stay competitive: Stay focused on providing services that people want and need. Always ask, "How can we do that better?"

In five years, where would you like your business to be? Our community of happy customers will have grown and we will have broadened the spectrum of video production services we provide. We expect that some of the corporate Brand Documentaries that are in the works today will be complete and airing on public television. We will be known as a reliable, responsive company that does extraordinary things.

What does your company contribute to the Carlsbad community? We reach out to our immediate neighbors and the Terramar community where we live. Frank is on the board of the Terramar Association and we participate in activities that include the neighborhood kids and keeping our beaches safe and clean.
What are your guiding principles? To be the best we can be and to bring out the best in others.

What's one thing other people do not know about you? One of us has a passion for opera and the other has walked on fire…literally.

What would you change if you could do it all over again? Recognize that taking risks creates opportunities.
