Deveney Gibbons joined the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce in November as the membership services manager.

Gibbons has lived in San Diego for more than seven years. She has worked in all facets of the hospitality industry, from hotels to restaurants, and most recently at the San Diego Hall of Champions sports museum in Balboa Park.
Gibbons received her bachelor's degree in hospitality and tourism management, with an emphasis in attractions, events and convention management, from San Diego State University. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends or dabbling in a fun art project.
