Jet Source is soaring to new heights to allow its customers to travel greater distances in increased comfort.
The full-service aviation firm has added a Westwind II, a Hawker 400-731 and two Hawker 800As to its growing fleet of charter aircraft. Available for private travel, these new planes feature luxurious club seating for up to eight passengers, complete cabin entertainment systems and a range of 1,800 to 2,200 nautical miles, depending on the aircraft selected. All four planes are based at the company's headquarters, the McClellan-Palomar Airport in Carlsbad.
“We're gearing up for our clients' ski season,” said Megan Cunningham, vice president of charter services. “As we enter the busy holiday travel time, we expect our clients to be delighted with the addition of these high-end aircraft to add to their wish list for winter travel.”
She said the addition of the Westwind II is noteworthy because it provides more than 2,200 miles of air travel for clients to reach their favorite destinations. Whether it's to hit the slopes, visit family or close that important business deal, the Westwind II makes an excellent choice, Cunningham said.
The Westwind II is designed to provide longer-range travel at a more affordable price, offering customers a lower-cost travel alternative. The jet can seat up to eight passengers with club seating and has an expanded baggage compartment. There also is a convenient mini galley located in the forward cabin, a private aft cabin lavatory and the added convenience of an in-flight phone.
The Hawker 400-731 has a chic interior that includes a leopard print two-place divan and individual club seating for five additional passengers, as well as a large forward galley, stand-up cabin and an aft located lavatory.
Jet Source clients can increase their productivity in the Hawker 800A by powering up their laptops, faxing documents and receiving e-mails, all in a quiet, spacious cabin with four leather club seats and a two-place couch opposite a single executive seat. This long-range aircraft can fly to New York non-stop from the West Coast.
Established in 1997, Jet Source is a nationally recognized business aviation center, and is the only facility in California that has the internal capabilities to support the operational needs of corporate aircraft at one location. Jet Source boasts more than 120,000 square feet of hangar space and an executive terminal.
In 2009, Jet Source plans to open a new, state-of-the-art facility in Henderson, Nevada, that will consist of two 35,000-square-foot hangars and an executive terminal.
