The chamber's Annual Business Awards Dinner will take place Feb. 26 at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara, 7100 Four Seasons Point, Carlsbad. Awards will be given out in the following eight categories:
• Businessperson of the Year
• Small Business of the Year (1-15 employees)
• Medium Business of the Year (16-99 employees)
• Large Business of the Year (100 or more employees)
• Lifetime Achievement in Business
• Entrepreneur of the Year
• Community Leadership
• Environmental Spirit
This premiere event will celebrate business champions, recognize the achievements of the chamber's 2009 board of directors and inaugurate the 2010 leadership team.
“We want to applaud the individuals and companies that have worked hard to keep our region on track during these difficult times,” said Toni Padron, the chamber's executive vice president and chief operating officer.
More than 500 people, including prominent and high-profile business leaders, elected officials and community members, will attend the awards dinner.
Carol LeBeau, a former Channel 10 news anchor, will be the master of
ceremonies. The evening will feature a
cocktail reception, culinary delights at a world renowned resort and complimentary valet parking.
The event also will include a spectacular drawing for your chance to win more than $15,000 in prizes. The eco-friendly package includes a SeaShell Awning, an energy saving 19″ Vizio TV, an energy star washer and dryer, an EV Rider three-wheel electric scooter, a high-performance Solatube system and an SDG&E energy assessment with $10,000 in energy efficient upgrades for a single-family home.
