The restaurant, which opened across from Carlsbad Premium Outlets in 2003, prepares a daily menu, giving restaurant goers an updated selection of entrees and appetizers with each visit. The reason behind this, according to restaurant Manager Krista Evans, is that King's aims to only offer what they can provide.
"If the fishermen can't get a certain type of fish for that day, it's not going on the menu." Part of the outstanding guest service that King's provides includes giving their customers what they want, when they want it.
"We want people to know that we care about quality not just quantity," says Evans. "Customer service is at the top of our list along with delivering fresh, delicious menu items that will keep people coming back as well as attract new clientele."
The restaurant is currently entering 'salmon and soft shell crab season' as evident by the posters, informational placards and attentive waiters. Much like one would expect from a farmer's market, known for offering fresh, seasonal produce to buyers, King's has seafood seasons. The best of salmon, lobster, crab and other favorites are served when they are in season.
