Reduce Workers' Comp costs: Senate Bill 292 (Speier; D-San Francisco/San Mateo).Reduces out of control pharmaceutical costs for repackaged drugs.
Employment wages: Assembly Bill 1093 (Matthews; D-Tracy). Makes sensible changes to current payroll practices, especially direct deposit, benefiting both employers and employees.
AB 640 (Tran; R-Garden Grove). Allow four-day workweek.

Slows development of affordable housing by adding increased complexity and delay to the planning process and creates another opportunity for legal challenges to new housing by inserting new water supply requirements into general plans (Cal Chamber).
Ports Congestion; Senate Bill 760 (Lowenthal; D- Long Beach). Increases the cost of goods movement in California by assessing a $30 fee per twenty-foot equivalent unit on containers processed through the Los Angeles and Long Beach Ports (Cal Chamber).
